Google Reader is probably the better known RSS and Atom feed aggregators available, but it requires a gmail account to use it. Feedly is a similar tool that organizes your favorite sources in a magazine-like start page.

Feedly is a full feature RSS reader exposed through fast/interactive magazine-like interface. Available as a browser add-on for both Firefox and Google Chrome, Feedly lets you import, organize, and filter your favorite RSS feeds and bookmarks, share articles on twitter, tumblr, delicious and facebook, in addition to more advanced and experimental features.
